The French really are funny aren't they?
People have been trying to put their finger on it for a long time, and I, sure won't be the one to nail it. its all just a big game of cat and mouse with french charm.

3 things i like about the french:
-when they enter a shop, they say a big hello to everyone in it ( particularly boulangerie and cafes)
-they call everyone monsieur and madame all the time. its old-school (archaic?) and a little charming
-the mid day church bells are replaced by canon. thats pretty rock and roll

The photo below was taken in villefranche sur mer. in a street called rue obscure. once upon a time used to allow the villagers secret escape during siege. fairly strange street to live on i imagine.
